For guests of Beaver Lakefront Cabins, such can be life onboard the 34' sailing sloop Defiance departing sunsets and weekends from our dock for romantic cruises under the steady hand of licensed captain Andy Falls.

A cruise on Defiance is the perfect way to appreciate Beaver Lake's 438 miles of shoreline that weaves its way through the picturesque and tree-covered Ozark Mountains.  Late mornings and afternoons on the lake are often accompanied by a stiff breeze making for a quick and exhilarating ride through the main channel.  Alternately, ask your captain to pull into a cove where you can avail yourself of quiet solitude with the foredeck for sunbathing or the rear lake-access ladder for a refreshing swim.

Defiance can accommodate up to six passengers in her shaded, comfortable cockpit with an aft-mounted grill. The spacious salon is well-ventilated and includes a kitchen with dining or meeting area, a separate bedroom, and of course, a fully functional, private bathroom with running water when nature calls.
